Kal Singh is first Principal DG in newly created post in MoSPI
Kal Singh has been appointed as Principal Director General in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) after promotion to Apex (Secretary level) level. Singh, who belongs to a 1993 batch officer of Indian Statistical Service (ISS), is the first Principal DG from ISS service appointed to this newly created post. He has been assigned the charge of Field Operations, National Statistics Office (NSO) in the Ministry.
