1993 batch IAS officer Dewangan to serve as Secretary, NCSC at Additional Secretary level
Vivek Kumar Dewangan presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. Dewangen, who belongs to a 1993 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre, will work at downgraded Additional Secretary level. He will be holding this post till his retirement in April 2027.
