Amit Kumar to join as Director, SPG on Mar 31, 2027
Amit Kumar, Special DG, CRPF, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Special Protection Group (SPG). Amit, who belongs to 1994 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre, will take over as Director, SPG on March 31, 2027 upon the retirement of incumbent Alok Sharma.
