Selections of CMDs & MDs for 16 PSUs held in abeyance
At least 16 Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) are still awaited for their new Heads. The selections of 13 CMDs and three MDs are pending with the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) and Search-cum-Selection Committees (SCSC) of the concerned Ministries. There is an inordinate amount of time in selection of new bosses. The PESB and the Ministries had advertised the vacancies much earlier, but failed to select the candidates on time.
