Sail Project Scam: Meet the tainted officer deciding promotions
The recent actions undoubtedly confirm that one’s rise in SAIL is exponentially proportional to the damage one does to the company. The one who is honestly committed, speaks against the corrupt & corruption, is shown the door after being subject to brutal vengeance & vendetta.
Policy infringements are a way of life in SAIL. First, they are violated to inflict huge financial losses to SAIL and then the laws of the land and statutory provisions, which provide due protection to the Whistle Blower, are breached.
Independent and Government Directors are mute spectators.

Natarajan’s hubris, temerity, audacity & lust for illegal benefits is not limited to steel supplies the FAKE PROJECT SHI INFRA P LTD. He not only ridiculed LOKPAL of India in the matter of SHI INFRA P LTD but in many other cases also.
Among many, another blatant case is supply of about 7,000 T of TMT Bars to a FAKE PROJECT named P2P INFRA from the Jaipur Branch of the Western Region that too at heavy discounts. It has been gathered that over 85% have been sold on Direct Despatch by Road mode to facilitate the firm to sell the TMT Bars at any location throughout India.
While V S Chakravarthy was posted in Chennai, Natarajan used to report to him. In Aug 2023, Chakaravarthy, coming from Southern India and the then Director (Commercial), elevated South Indian Natarajan to the post of Regional Manager of Western Region.
From Sep 2023, Natarajan began supplies of TMT Bars to P2P INFRA, a Noida based firm and TMT Bars were also shipped to Noida. Noida comes under the jurisdiction of Northern Region. What was the personal interest of the Regional Manager of Western Region to supply TMT Bars to the firm from its Jaipur Branch, that too to a firm which is a FAKE PROJECT and connected to a Noida based B2B commerce firm STEELMANTRA P LTD.
Like OfBusiness [OFB Tech P Ltd where M C Agarwal joined as Director immediately after superannuating from SAIL as ED (Sales & ITD)]; Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses P Ltd; Brick2wall Infra P ltd; ZHUZOOR INFRATECH P LTD etc., STEELMANTRA P LTD is also engaged in selling steel products, including TMT Bars, in the market which they purchase from SAIL and others.
AMRITA KUMARI and PREM CHOUDHARY are directors on the board of STEELMANTRA P LTD and P2P INFRA is a proprietorship firm whose proprietor is AMRITA KUMARI.
