Hunt is on for a successor to Ansuman Pattnaik as DG, CCI
The Competition Commission of India has started searching for an eligible officer for the post of Director General in the Commission on deputation on foreign service terms basis.
The person to be appointed as Director General should be a person of integrity and outstanding ability and who has experience in investigation, and knowledge of accountancy, management, business, public administration, international trade, law or economics. The tenure of present incumbent Ansuman Pattnaik (IRS-IT) is coming to an end soon. Pattnaik had joined the Commission as Additional DG in 2014 and was elevated as DG.
The Commission is seeking applications from the Central Government and State Governments officers before April 20, 2026.
