Five Board Members contenders for CMD post in SAIL
As many as five existing Members on the Board of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) appear to be eligible for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, SAIL falling vacant on April 3, 2026. They are: Priya Ranjan, Director in-charge (Bokaro Steel Plant); Surajit Mishra, Director in-charge (Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants); Ashok Kumar Panda, Director (Finance); Alok Verma, Director in-charge (Rourkela Steel Plant) and Manish Raj Gupta, Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials).
