It is probably for the first time, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is holding interviews in bulk in a month. The PESB has chalked out as many as 17 selection meetings for various Boards of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the month of June, 2026. The Board will be selecting five candidates for CMD level posts while 12 candidates are selected for Director level posts on the various boards of PSUs in this month.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is conducting interviews for the vacancies of the posts include: Director (Project), GAIL on June 13; Director (Project), NBCC on 16; Director (Finance), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited on June 17; CMD, Northern Coalfields Limited on June 18; CMD, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited on June 19; Director (Finance), Konkan Railway Corporation Limited on June 20; Director (Technical) Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) and Director (Technical), Western Coalfields Limited same day on June 22; Director (Operations & Business Development), Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL) and Director (Technical), Bharat Coking Coal Limited same day on June 23; Chairman & Managing Director, Telecommunications Consultants (India) Limited on June 27; Director (Project), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on June 29 and interviews for Chairman & Managing Director, National Textile Corporation Limited on June 30, 2026 are being held. 

Besides, interviews for Director (Power)NLC India Limited; Chairman & Managing Director, Troop Comforts Limited and Director (Production) Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) have already been conducted in the first and second week of June.

Mallika Srinivasan, an Indian industrialist and CMD of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), has been serving as Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) since November 18, 2021.
