Amit Tandon, Principal Executive Director, RVNL, has taken over the charge as Director (Projects), Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). Tandon is a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in railway and metro infrastructure. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in 1991 and is an officer of the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). Currently, he serves as the Principal Executive Director at RVNL (Rail Vikas Nigam Limited) in Kolkata, where he oversees projects including metro systems, highway bridges (such as the Kona Expressway) and track works.
