Ajit Kumar Panda, Director (Project & Services), CONCOR, has been appointed as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR). The Ministry has issued orders for the appointment to the post.
Panda holds Degrees of BE (Hon’s) in Mechanical Engineering from NIT, Rourkela and M. Tech (Thermal Engineering) from IIT, Delhi. He has been an Officer of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (1990 batch). In his career spanning more than three decades, Panda has acquired rich experience and expertise in Railway services, operations, productions, infrastructure, Rolling Stock and Public Private Partnerships.
