Chairman of the Airports Authority of India, Vipin Kumar, inspected the progress and proposed developments at the new terminal building under construction at Varanasi Airport. Present during the inspection were Varanasi Divisional Commissioner, S Rajalingam, AAI Member (Planning), Anil Gupta, and other officials.

The new terminal in Varanasi will be able to serve approximately 9.9 million passengers annually. It will be a wonderful blend of modern facilities and the rich cultural heritage of Kashi.
