RailTel: Workshop on “Public Procurement and Contract Management”
RailTel Vigilance Department organised a workshop on “Public Procurement and Contract Management” at its Corporate Office on 27 August 2026, as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign–2026.
The session, chaired by Sanjai Kumar, CMD RailTel, and conducted by Rahul Kumar Goel, IRSSE (1985 batch), Adviser/NR, in the presence of Directors, CVO RailTel and senior executives was highly interactive and insightful. Executives from Regions and Territory offices also participated through video conferencing. The workshop facilitated meaningful discussions by delving deep into various aspects and nuances of Public Procurement and Contract Management, especially Project Closure and offered practical insights.
Further, CMD directed all executives to launch a special drive, under the guidance of Director, POM to initiate action on project closure during three-month campaign period. Additionally, CVO RailTel requested all executives to take Integrity Pledge, for which link is already made available on RailTel's website, during the campaign period.
