GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, IAS conducted a field inspection in Wards 45 and 48, reviewing sanitation, waste collection, drinking water supply and other civic amenities. He directed officials to take strict action against sanitation personnel remaining absent from duties for prolonged periods and ensure continuous field-level monitoring.

He also reviewed preparations for the upcoming local body elections, directing officials to expedite polling station identification and ensure necessary basic amenities. Officials were further instructed to speed up the 24×7 water supply pipeline works in Sonia Gandhi Colony.
