Does Steel Secretary cover up rampant corruption?
Despite many letter, umpteen emails, numerous whatsapp & SMS to Secretary Steel from the Whistle Blower taking up the rampant corruption with him, the Secretary did not respond to any one of them. His actions cast shadow of personal interests by overlooking the scams one after another rather than being stuck to transparency, ethics, morality, probity, and honesty.

You Decide: Who is committed? ; Who is compromised?
A written complaint titled “Complaint on irregularities committed by Shri Munish Ahuja and other SAIL Officials in sale of TMT Bars to M/s R.N INFRA PROJECTS” was sent to Steel Minister; Secretary, Ministry of Steel; CVO SAIL & AVCO SAIL CMO on Dec 03, 2024.
Has Secretary also buried the complaint as was done by Soma and Chakravarthy for Venkatesh Infra Projects P Ltd; Avon Steel Industries P Ltd and Hi-Tech Pipes(Group)
Will Secretary provide answers or pass it as filmy rhetoric ‘कुछ तो लोग’ कहेंगे’ as done by Amerandu before running away, in his last address to the employees of SAIL
Secretary Steel and SAIL SCAM
It has been gathered that the referred complaint dated Dec 03, 2024 which was sent to Secretary Steel and others, was a 10-page document containing not only the detailed facts about sales to R N INFRA PROJECTS, but it also contained a detailed analysis of shift of TMT Bar sales from FAKE Projects to SAIL Distributors. The letter has an underlying message that “If you rob the company get rewarded and if you reward the company get robbed”.
Few screenshots from the letter are given below:

Like many other letters/emails, no action has been taken on the above letter also. Rather, Secretary Steel, through his proxy, Abhijeet Narendra, government director on SAIL board, got the pre-mature retirement of the Whistle Blower approved in the SAIL board meeting dated Feb 11, 2025.

SAIL Scam : A ladder which took riders to the top
Soma became Member, PESB; Suresh became CMD MOIL, Natrajan became D(C) SAIL; Abhijeet became All-India Marketing Head of SAIL; Munish became All-India Sales Head of SAIL. In case of elevation of Suresh & Natrajan, Secretary Steel was directly involved.
Despite multiple wrongdoings Ahuja continues on prime, sensitive, and lucrative posts. Is Munish Ahuja privy to some secret acts of the senior management of SAIL?
A case of 8,500 Tonne of TMT Bars & Blow of over Rs 4 Cr to SAIL
About 8,500 Tonne of TMT Bars have been sold to yet another FAKE Project - R N Infra Projects by the Durgapur Branch of SAIL CMO by giving heavy discounts in the name of a Project. It is worth mentioning that the Durgapur Branch is part of the Eastern Region of SAIL CMO and its Regional Manager Munish Ahuja was instrumental in giving price approvals to the firm by underhandedly using the DoP which was purely provided to him for utilization for Genuine Projects only.

The data suggests that SAIL officials not only connived with R N INFRA PROJECTS by grossly going against the spirit of the policies of the SAIL but also helped R N INFRA PROJECTS in “PROFITEERING” by either giving deliberately price approvals just before the price increase and/or supplying more material whenever the market was buoyant. It would not be an exaggeration that R N INFRA PROJECTS was given more TMT Bars in good times denying the other genuine projects.
Complaints pending; Ahuja made All-India Sales Head of SAIL
It is not the maiden case of Ahuja’s misdoings. The list is endless, probably which worked in his favour to become All-India Sales Head of SAIL. To know him please read our story “SAIL PROJECT SCAM and WHISTLE BLOWER’S Inquiry Officer”.
