BBTP Buildtech Private Limited is yet another feather in the cap of Project Scam of SAIL. The official who brought the firm from Gurugram to Kolkata and offered heavy discounts recently upgraded to All India Head of Sales in SAIL; Is senior management is also involved ?

A  Wholesale Distributor of Two-Wheelers and Four-Wheelers first brought from Gurugram to Kolkata and then turned into a Project by SAIL officials for supplying TMT Bars at very low prices and ride the momentous tide of windfall gains.

It has been gathered that within a short span of 06 months over 10,000 Tonne of TMT Bars were sold by SAIL officials to BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED at very heavy discounts using the policy and guidelines applicable for firms who are doing Project / Construction work.

BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is registered with GST with Principal Place of Business as “HOUSE NO. 1440, SECTOR-21, Gurugram, Haryana” with nature of core business activity as “TRADER-WHOLESALER/DISTRIBUTOR”. It was incorporated on April 19, 2022 and got its GSTIN - 06AAKCB6871D1ZM on May 19, 2022.

In less than two months of incorpoartion the firm and got “PROJECT MOU” signed with Kolkata Branch of SAIL-CMO effective from 01.07.2022. Lightening Rush !! . Question arises that how the firm gained work experience with in such a short time to get project(s) which can consume 10,000 Tonne of TMT Bars within six months.

BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is registered with GST for Building sales on a                              fee / commission basis or contract basis ; Land sales on a fee / commission basis or contract basis and Real estate appraisal services on a fee / commission basis or contract basis. None of the above involve or constitute “Construction” or “Project”.

A firm belonging to Gurugram and coming all the way to Kolkata for buying TMT Bars is highly intriguing and raises many eyebrows. The probable reason could be that both the Branch Manager and Regional Manager posted at Kolkata had earlier worked as Branch Mangers in NCR i.e. at SAIL CMO branches located at Delhi, Faridabad & Ghaziabad, and the promoters of BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED might be known to them from their NCR days.

As per the Board’s Report accessed by ‘Bureaugram.com’, the firm is engaged in “Trading Business”

Whether firm was incorporated based on pre-assurance from SAIL for supply of TMT Bars at heavy discounts ?

The modus-operandi adopted by SAIL officials with BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is the same as was adopted by in the supply of 1,50,000 Tonnes of steel to M/s Venkatesh Infra Projects P Ltd. On the directions of Lokpal of India, CBI has already registered  F.I.R. No. RC2182024A0021 on 10.10.2024 u/s 120B, 420, 468, 471 IPC and Sections 7, 9 and 12 of the P.C. Act, 1988 as amended against the erring senior officials of SAIL, M/s Venkatesh Infra Projects P Ltd and M/s APCO Infratech P Ltd.

As per Indiamart website, BBTP BUILDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED is a  Wholesale Distributor of bikes, scooter & bajaj bikes in Gurugram, Haryana.
