V O Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin had the privilege of welcoming Santosh Kumar Sarangi, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

He was received by Chairperson Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, and senior officials of the Port. As part of the visit, Sarangi visited the VOC Maritime Heritage Museum, where he explored the Port’s distinguished maritime heritage, operational journey, and its pivotal role in the growth of India’s maritime trade.

The visit reflected a shared vision towards sustainability, development, and nation-building initiatives.
