WCL CMD Dr Pandey visits various sites
During the visit, he held detailed discussions with officials regarding production targets, mine development works, fire prevention measures, pumping arrangements, coal evacuation systems, and future mining plans. While inspecting mine benches, dumps, coal stockyards, railway sidings, and other critical operational sites, Dr. Pandey issued directives to strengthen drainage systems, dump stability, haul road maintenance, and coal stock management to ensure uninterrupted production during the monsoon. He placed special emphasis on the optimal utilization of available resources, improved machinery availability, and enhanced operational efficiency to drive continuous growth in production and productivity. He also gave instructions for the better maintenance of railway sidings, improved housekeeping, the upgrading of basic amenities, and ensuring seamless coal dispatch.
He reviewed the progress of Continuous Miner operations at Saoner-1 and the proposed belt line project at Saoner-3, emphasizing the need to accelerate development works and ensure timely implementation. Additionally, he directed officials to maintain readiness with advance action plans for preventive maintenance, continuous monitoring of critical machinery, and addressing potential monsoon-related challenges. During the visit, Dr. Pandey interacted with workers engaged in various projects and mines, gathering their suggestions and insights regarding the workplace. He commended their dedication and hard work, encouraged them, and motivated them to adopt a safety-conscious work culture, enhance productivity, and contribute actively to the company's progress.
