THDC India Limited celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and commitment across its Corporate Office in Rishikesh, as well as at all project sites and regional offices. On this occasion, Sipan Kumar Garg, CMD, THDCIL, stated that the theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future." serves as a powerful reminder that nature holds the solutions to many of the challenges posed by climate change. Garg emphasized that THDCIL remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development and clean energy generation, contributing to India's climate goals while strengthening the nation's energy security. He further added that THDCIL continues to integrate environmentally responsible practices across all its operations and projects, reaffirming its commitment to building a greener, more resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.

At THDCIL Corporate Office, Neeraj Verma, Executive Director (C&MM and CP) THDCIL, administered the World Environment Day pledge, wherein employees reaffirmed their commitment towards environmental conservation, climate responsibility and sustainable living. Dr A N Tripathy, CGM (HR-Admin, CC), Ajay Garg, CGM (Finance) and H K Jindal, GM (S&E) along with other senior officers of THDCIL were also present during the event. The pledge ceremony was followed by a plantation drive at the Corporate Office, Rishikesh, and simultaneously across all THDCIL projects, units and regional offices.
