A delegation led by H E 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗘𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗺, Ambassador of Sudan to India, called on 𝗗𝗿 𝗦 𝗦 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮, CMD, NSIC on June 9, 2026, to explore opportunities for cooperation between NSIC and Sudan, particularly in the areas of consultancy services for policy formulation, enterprise development, skill enhancement, incubation and entrepreneurship promotion. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), and 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘃 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶, Director (Finance), NSIC, were also present during the meeting.

The Sudanese delegation included 𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗘𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗷 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱, Counsellor, and 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗻, Counsellor, from the Embassy of Sudan, New Delhi.

During the interaction, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮 provided an overview of India’s MSME sector, the institutional framework supporting its growth and NSIC’s key initiatives aimed at strengthening and promoting MSMEs through a range of developmental and business support interventions.

The Sudanese delegation expressed strong interest in drawing upon NSIC’s extensive experience and expertise in entrepreneurship development, business incubation, skill development and MSME promotion to support the growth of small and medium enterprises in Sudan.
