National Water Academy (NWA), Pune signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WAPCOS Limited at Sewa Bhawan, R K Puram, New Delhi with an Aim to foster collaboration in training, capacity building, knowledge sharing and professional development in the water resources sector.

The partnership will facilitate specialized training programmes, workshops, technical exchanges, international capacity-building initiatives, and skill enhancement opportunities for professionals in the water, power and infrastructure sectors. The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both institutions towards developing a highly skilled and future-ready workforce for sustainable water resources management.

From NWA, Pune, the MoU was signed by D S Chaskar, Chief Engineer and Head of National Water Academy, Pune and from WAPCOS side the MoU was signed by Praveen Kumar, Chief Executive Director, WAPCOS,  in the presence of Anupam Prasad, Chairman, CWC and senior officers from DoWR, RD & GR, MoJS namely Karan Singh, JS(Admin) and Gaurav Masaldan, JS&FA.
