NCL holds Vendor Education-cum-Question & Answer Meet
NCL organised a Vendor Education-cum-Question & Answer Meet for registered vehicle providers associated with the company at Headquarters, Singrauli.
The Tender and Hiring Section of the Light Vehicle Department organised the program with the objective of enhancing awareness among vendors regarding the tendering process and reducing errors during bid submission on the GeM portal.
On this occasion, Sanjay Sinha, General Manager (HR)/HoD-Light Vehicle, Nalin Mishra, Dy. Manager (E&M)/Light Vehicle, Saugata Sinha, Dy. Manager (E&M)/Light Vehicle and Rahul Kumar, Assistant Foreman (E&M)/Light Vehicle. Various registered vendors and vehicle providers associated with NCL were present.
During the programme, Arun Kumar Roy, Dy. Manager (E&M) and Arpit Nagar, Dy. Manager (E&M), E&M Tender Cell, conducted informative sessions on the common mistakes observed during the bidding process. The participants were apprised of various important annexures, provisions and key points of the Service NIT currently in practice.
A live demonstration was also conducted on the proper filling of the Bid Submission Confirmation Sheet, which constitutes an important component of the tender document. The session provided practical guidance to vendors and helped them gain a better understanding of tender submission requirements.
Additionally, the programme aimed at minimising bid-related discrepancies, facilitating error-free tender participation and ensuring timely finalisation of tenders with improved efficiency.
An interactive Question & Answer session was also conducted at the end of the programme, during which the queries and doubts of the participating vendors were addressed.
