A delegation led by Rohit Gupta, Deputy Managing Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), and Manoj Kumar, Director General of LINAC, visited Anand to study the cooperative development model of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).

The delegation met with NDDB Chairman Dr. Meenesh Shah and senior officials to discuss the strengthening of dairy infrastructure, cooperative development, and the effective implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NDDB and NCDC.

During the visit, the delegation gained firsthand experience of successful cooperative institutions and innovative rural development initiatives. They toured the Tribhuvandas Cooperative University, the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), NDDB’s subsidiary units, dairy processing facilities, and cooperative-based sustainable development projects. Interactions with dairy farmers and field visits to organic waste management and renewable energy sites highlighted the effectiveness of the cooperative model in strengthening rural livelihoods.

The study tour also provided insights into dairy cooperatives, infrastructure projects, sustainable development initiatives, and farmer-centric innovations that are driving cooperative-based inclusive development.
