Nayak to succeed Das as CMD, IREDA
Jatin Kumar Nayak, Executive Director (Finance), REC Limited, has been selected for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) at the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on June 19, 2026. Nayak, who was picked up among 12 short-listed candidates, will succeed P K Das retiring on June 30, 2026.
He has a long track record of working with NHPC, HCL, NALCO, NINL(now TATA group) prior to joining REC Limited 20 years ago. During his distinguished career spanning over three decades he has worked in different areas of finance, accounts and has headed distinct verticals in REC Limited.
