The successful completion of the Global Online Certification Course on "Generative AI for Data-Driven Business Decision-Making, 2026", led by Prof. David Simchi-Levi (MIT, USA), and by Prof. Manoj Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai.

Across seven intensive weeks, the program seamlessly wove together rigorous academic thinking and real-world business applications, preparing participants to harness the transformative power of Generative AI in their professional domains. The course journeyed through the Analytics Spectrum, Supply Chain Digitization, Autonomous AI Agents, Pricing Strategy and Demand Modelling, Prescriptive Analytics and Business Optimisation, and the emerging frontier of Solver-in-the-Loop optimization where LLM agents assist in debugging complex models.

Participants also explored how AI is redefining decision-making across supply chains, BFSI, manufacturing, logistics, and digital analytics.

We were honoured to host Dinesh Didel, Director (Technology Management) at the National eGovernance Division, MeitY, who offered a fascinating glimpse into how Generative AI is being deployed at a national scale, sharing real-world government use cases spanning environmental impact analysis, geospatial intelligence, sentiment analysis, and AI-powered citizen services.

The success of this program would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of the faculty coordinators and student coordinators, whose meticulous efforts ensured that every session was delivered seamlessly and every participant had a truly enriching experience.
