HURL CMD participates in review meeting on Namrup Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer Project
Dr Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL & AVFCCL, participated in a high-level review meeting on the Namrup Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer Project chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Lok Sewa Bhawan. The meeting was also attended by J B Ekka, Chairman, AVFCCL, along with senior officials.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing groundwork and preparatory activities, emphasizing the importance of timely execution of this landmark project.
With an investment of ₹10,600 crore and an annual production capacity of 12.7 Lakh MT, the Namrup Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer Project is set to strengthen India's fertilizer manufacturing capacity while contributing to the industrial growth of Assam and the Northeast.
As a promoter and key stakeholder in AVFCCL, HURL remains committed to supporting the successful realization of this transformative project for the benefit of farmers and the nation.
