A General Managers' coordination meeting was organized at the SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur on June 2, 2026. During the meeting, the company's performance regarding production, dispatch, safety, environmental conservation, human resource management, and various operational activities was reviewed. Additionally, keeping the upcoming monsoon season in mind, a brief discussion was held regarding necessary preparations and safety measures to be implemented at the mines and project sites.

The meeting was presided over by CMD Harish Duhan. Present on this occasion were Director (Technical/Operations) N Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Human Resources) Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) D Sunil Kumar, and Director (Technical/Planning & Projects) Ramesh Chandra Mahapatra. Furthermore, all Regional General Managers and Heads of Departments from the headquarters were also in attendance.

In his address, CMD Harish Duhan stated that enhanced coordination, operational efficiency, and innovation across all regions and departments are essential to make the company's overall performance more effective and result-oriented. He called upon the officials to work with unwavering commitment towards achieving production and dispatch targets, while prioritizing safety above all else.

During the meeting, the participating officials shared information regarding the progress, challenges, and achievements within their respective regions, and presented various suggestions for boosting production, strengthening safety protocols, conserving the environment, and improving overall work performance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, officials who retired from SECL during the month of May were felicitated for their outstanding and dedicated service. The felicitated officials included C Shakti Vel, General Manager (E&T) Department, and A K Patnaik, General Manager (Civil), Siding Department.
