GAIL Training Institute celebrates 29th Anniversary with 2nd L&D Conclave
To mark the occasion, GTI organized a Learning & Development Conclave on the theme “Fueling the Future: Skills for a Volatile Transitional Energy Landscape”. this was the 2nd L&D Conclave which brought together CMD GAIL, Directors (HR), L&D Heads, and learning champions from leading Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
The event served as a platform for sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and collectively shaping a future-ready learning ecosystem for today’s and tomorrow’s energy leaders. In his welcome address Ayush Gupta, Director HR GAIL briefed the audience about pioneer initiatives by GTI.
The conclave was inaugurated by Deepak Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL, who, in his inaugural address, emphasized the pivotal role of Learning & Development in aligning individual growth with organizational objectives and national aspirations. The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Vaishali Nigam Sinha, Co-Founder, ReNew, who highlighted the urgent need for cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions and outlined the roadmap towards achieving them.
The inaugural session was also graced by distinguished leaders, including K S Shetty, Director (HR), HPCL; Ms. Rashmi Govil, Director (HR), IOCL; Manish Patil, Director (HR), ONGC; and Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
The conclave featured several insightful sessions and deliberations, including:
Panel Discussion by Directors (HR) on the theme “Empowering Teams by Embracing the Future: Guiding Our Workforce through Positive Energy Transition, Digital Empowerment, and Organizational Development,” moderated by Dr. G. P. Rao, Chairman, GPR HR Consulting.
Fireside Chat on “Sustainable Skilling: Commitment and Leadership of the Indian Army,” featuring Maj. Gen. A S Chauhan, SC, SM (Retd.) in conversation with Col. Rohit Dev.
Knowledge-sharing sessions by L&D teams from leading energy and infrastructure organizations, including IOCL, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, EIL, NTPC, BHEL, NHPC, MGL, Power Grid Corporation, and GAIL, showcasing best practices and innovative approaches to workforce development.
Launch of “Inquizzitive 2.0,” a HRD initiative of GAIL aimed at fostering continuous learning and engagement.
The event concluded on a forward-looking note by Shri Praveer Kumar Agrawal, Executive Director (Training), who reaffirmed the GAIL commitment to building future-ready talent and strengthening learning excellence across the energy sector.
