Bharat Electronics Limited, Machilipatnam Unit, under the aegis of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Vijayawada, organised a one-day Official Language Conference titled 'Bhasha Parv – Rajbhasha ka Utsav, Sankalp ka Sangam' at Nimmaluru on 10th June 2026. The conference saw active participation from 120 delegates, including Heads of Offices and Official Language Officers from TOLIC member organisations, Vijayawada, along with senior executives from BEL Machilipatnam.

Mohit Sonakia, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada and Chairman, TOLIC, Vijayawada, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Dhirendra N. Pandey, General Manager, BEL Machilipatnam, presided over the function. Marking the occasion, an exclusive Hindi Library was inaugurated at BEL Machilipatnam to strengthen Rajbhasha resources and promote Hindi literature.

The participants greatly benefitted from three insightful sessions conducted by eminent speakers. Dr. Raj Narayan Avasthy, Manager (OL), ECIL, Hyderabad, elaborated on the Parliamentary Official Language Questionnaire. M K Nagaraju, DGM (OL), South Central Railway, Secunderabad, delivered an in-depth talk on the Official Language Act and Rules. Dr. Srividya, Ayurvedic Physician, conducted an engaging session on Health & Wellness. An Official Language Exhibition was also organised, showcasing the Rajbhasha initiatives and achievements of various member offices. The conference concluded on a high note, with participants reaffirming their commitment to enhancing the use of Hindi in official work.
