A major milestone in DVC’s digital transformation journey
"DRISHTI – DVC Real-time Insights and Spatial Hub for Transmission Infrastructure", an integrated GIS platform with Web Portal and Mobile App, was launched on 29.05.2026 by the Chairman, DVC.
DRISHTI will support the management of DVC’s extensive transmission network comprising 63 Substations & Power House Switchyards, 10,000 CKM of Transmission Lines, and 22,500 Transmission Towers across West Bengal and Jharkhand.
Completely integrated with DVC’s SAP-based ERP system, DRISHTI enables centralized asset information management, real-time asset visibility on GIS map, and data-driven decision-making. Mobile-based daily operation logs, periodic maintenance, and testing activities will now be performed digitally, eliminating traditional manual methods and paving the way for AI-driven monitoring, predictive maintenance, Digital Twin, and future Smart Grid initiatives.
