'Vanvas' ends after 13 years
The 'Vanvas' of IIS officers ended after 13 years when Dr Manisha Verma was appointed Press Secretary to the President in September this year. Archana Dutta retired as Press Secretary to the President in July 2012. After that either IFS or private persons were appointed to the post.
