An external female candidate’s name is being bandied around for the post of Director (Human Resources), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Presently, she is working as Additional General Manager (Human Resources) in a Schedule ‘A’ company.

A vacancy of this post arose after the incumbent Krishna Kumar Thakur (IRPS) joined NMDC as Director (Personnel) on March 19, 2026.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board will soon be holding the interviews for the selection of new candidate for the same.
