Why inordinate delay in appointment of new CMD, IREDA?
The Government of India is yet to select a candidate for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) as a vacancy of this post is arising with the superannuation of Pradip Kumar Das on July 1, 2026.
However, the vacancy has been advertised on January 28, 2026, but no process of selection has been made so far.
