Vivek Gupta has taken over the charge as Director (Finance), Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) replacing Ms Pallavi Joshi who ceases to hold the additional charge from the same date. Gupta, a 1997 batch IRAS officer with over 32 years of experience, brings distinguished expertise across finance, IT, and business development. His notable achievements include implementing TAMS in NW Railways, developing India's first railway freight terminal under PPP policy, and securing refinancing deals saving over Rs. 2700.00 crores for the government exchequer.

Gupta brings extensive experience as a 1997 batch Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer with over 32 years of distinguished service. His educational qualifications include: B.Tech. from IIT-BHU, Varanasi and MBA in Finance from BITS Pilani.

Prior to Indian Railways, he worked in ITI Ltd and the private sector, gaining diverse experience across finance, IT, business development, and general administration.

Vivek's career spans multiple railway zones in various senior capacities, including Additional DRM at Izzatnagar Division, Senior DFM positions at Moradabad, Jhansi, Agra, and Kota Divisions, and FA&CAO roles in NW Railway and NC Railway.
