Satyan Kumar, Executive Director Chief Executive Officer- ONGC Green Limited, has taken over the charge as Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs), ONGC. Satyan Kumar provides strategic leadership for ONGC’s corporate strategy, business development, joint-venture operations, stakeholder engagement and emerging energy initiatives. With over 36 years of experience across the oil and gas value chain, his career spans upstream operations, engineering, project management, marketing, business development, petrochemicals, corporate strategy and renewable energy. He has played a key role in shaping ONGC’s long-term strategic roadmap, including diversification into petrochemicals, LNG and green energy, and has been associated with initiatives in solar, wind, biofuels and other sustainable energy domains. His leadership assignments include Executive Director – Chief Corporate Strategy, senior roles in Engineering Services, and project leadership for critical infrastructure and business development initiatives such as captive power plants, the Hazira–Dahej naphtha pipeline and ONGC’s first 15 MW utility-scale solar project. An Electrical Engineering graduate from Dayalbagh Educational Institution, Agra, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from MDI Gurgaon and has undergone advanced leadership training at ESCP-EAP, France.
