The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) started searching for the successor to Uday A Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). A vacancy of this post is arising on February 1, 2027 with the expiring term of Kaole.
He is a seasoned professional who assumed the charge of Chairman-Cum-Managing Director of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on December 19, 2023. Prior to joining MCL, he was shouldering the responsibility of Director (Technical) in BCCL. Kaole, graduate in Mining Engineering from Nagpur University in the Year 1987 and commenced his illustrious journey in the Coal Industry from WCL, continually demonstrating his commitment to excellence, complemented by an extensive educational background, including obtaining a 1st Class Mine Manager Certification of Competencies, an MBA, and an LLB.
